	Myrtle Grove Presbyterian Church Summer Power Camp Myrtle Grove Presbyterian Church (800 Piner Rd) will have their 7th annual Summer Power Camp beginning the week of June 11th on Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 4 pm for rising 1st through 8th graders [before care is at 7:45 am & after care until 5 pm for an additional fee]. 	Summer Camp4U Summer Camp4U will have 10 weeks of camp beginning Monday, June 11th through Friday, August 17th from 8:30 am to 4 pm on Monday through Friday for rising 2nd through 8th graders (extended care available). Grades 2nd through 4th grade will be a group and 6th through 8th will be a group & 5th graders can choose which group they fit in best. Camp director, David Kolk, has 21 years of staffing & directing camps. Daily activities including Huddle Time, Team Time, and Going for the Goal. 	Flag Bearers for GDOP The area-wide observance of The Global Day of Prayer will be taking place on Sunday, May 27th at 3 pm to 5 pm at the First Baptist Activity Center on Independence Blvd. As in years past we will be having a parade of International Flags from around the World. Sat 10/13	The Ministering Circle The Ministering Circle will have their annual Fall Sale on Saturday, October 13th from 10 am to 1 pm featuring delicious gourmet baked & frozen foods, homemade pickles, jellies & jams at the Elks Club (5102 Oleander Dr). A light lunch will also be offered for sale. The proceeds will help to support health care projects in the community including continued support for nursing student scholarships.
