Cornerstone Baptist to hold UnORTHODOX Conference

You’re invited to join Cornerstone Baptist Church in Wilmington for their upcoming UnORTHODOX Conference. This in-person conference with limited space takes place Friday October 16th through Sunday October 18th, 2020.

Pastor Daniel Gillepsie joins us for Church of the Week to share more about the event. The UnORTHODOX Conference does indeed promote an orthodox biblical Christian life. “But the ‘un’ part of it is that if you’re going to be faithful to biblical Christianity, you’re going to live in a way that’s counter cultural, so life is going to be a little unorthodox.”

The theme of this year’s conference is “imago dei,” which means “made in the image of God.” Pastor Gillepsie says it is the “fundamental bedrock truth on which we live.” Knowing who we are, where we came from, and our purpose helps to establish a solid biblical worldview.

You can register for the UnORTHODOX Conference at unorthodoxconference.com.

While not yet continuing all their meetings, Cornerstone Baptist Church is meeting at 10:30am on Sunday mornings. You can find out more about Cornerstone on their Facebook page or at cornerstonewilmington.com.
