Living Christmas Tree at Pine Valley BC | Church of the Week

Scott York and Kathy Snow joins us to invite you to the upcoming Living Christmas Tree event at Pine Valley Baptist! Exploring various traditions and how we celebrate the holiday, the presentation answers the question “What is Christmas?” Show nights are December 14, 15, and 16, starting at 6:30pm with Kathy Snow’s Gospel Choir

The set features more than 20,000 lights coordinated with the music, but the Living Christmas Tree is more than just a bright 25-foot-tall structure. The tree is filled with a choir inspiring attendees through song. Some songs may produce a chuckle, like the Ugly Christmas Sweater song. Meanwhile, others invite the listener to reflect on the real meaning of Christmas.

Admission to the special Christmas event is free, but please consider bringing donations for Nourish NC. Help disadvantaged kids in our area have food over the Christmas holiday with any of these items:

  • Apple sauce cups
  • Pasta sauce (low sodium, no glass)
  • Jelly (reduced sugar, no glass)
