Operation Pretty Things Loves and Empowers Victims of Abuse

Operation Pretty Things

Operation Pretty Things has recently cancelled many events because of the COVID-19 pandemic. However, they need your help to continue their mission. OPT’s goal is to love and empower victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Director Missy Bennett joins us with details on how you can make a difference.

Women in need are helped in many ways through Operation Pretty Things. They can get massages, hair cuts, furniture and clothes. Plus, they receive financial advice, job interview assistance and court preparation. In addition to all of these benefits, local artists offer to cover scars with tattoos.

Normal fundraising events for Operation Pretty Things are not currently an option. But you can still give to support women and their children who need your help. Donate directly to the organization on their website, operationprettythings.org. Needed items may be purchased and sent to them from their Amazon and Target registries. You can also connect with them on Facebook.
