Power Camp is Still Happening at Myrtle Grove EPC

Power Camp

Power Camp at Myrtle Grove Evangelical Presbyterian Church are still on! Thanks to lifted restrictions related to COVID-19, Dave Kitzman is thrilled to announce that these highly-anticipated camps are still happening for summer 2020.

Running since 2004, these week-long day camps include sports, activities, and games. This summer features even more outdoor games than previous years including archery, basketball, volleyball, and ultimate frisbee. Most importantly, it’s all Christ-centered.

In addition to all the fun things kids can do, the theme of the weeks is about recycling. But instead of talking about green and blue bins, they will discover how God recycles. Concepts like repentance, renewal, and redemption will be explored.

Power Camp usually runs for four weeks each summer. However, this year it is only two weeks. Spots are first come, first served. The first week is June 22-26, and as of Monday June 8, there are about 20 openings left. With about 25 spots remaining, the second week is June 29-July 3.

You can register your rising 1st through rising 8th grader for Power Camp at powercampnc.com. Plus you’ll find information on how the camp organizers are handling COVID-19 concerns. As always, the camp will be held at the church on Piner Road.
